Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 13, 1992, at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Hayfield, Minnesota, for Gary Lee Scholl, 50, who died Saturday, October 10, 1992, at Hayfield. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery at Hayfield.

Mr. Scholl was born on November 7, 1941 at Rockford, Floyd county, Iowa. He was graduated from high school at Plymouth. On September 10, 1966 he was married to Barbara J. Jensen at Waseca, Minnesota.

The Scholls have been living in Hayfield, where Mr. Scholl was owner and operator of the Safeway Insurance agency, a member of the Professional Insurance Agents' Association, and of the Certified Insurance Counselors; Association. He was also a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, and a member of the church council. He was a member and past president of the Hayfield Lions Club and the Hayfield Chamber of Commerce.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Hayfield; four daughters: Lori of Owatonna, Minnesota, Lisa of Rochester, Minnesota, Lana of Worthington, Minnesota, and Leah at home; one son, Luke at home; his mother, Mrs. Verner (Alta) Sorenson of Rockford, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Joe (Sheryl) Cannon of Rockford, and Mrs. Brian (Gilda) Olson of Vinton, Iowa; and two brothers, William of Carlisle, and Roy Greenland of Carroll.

He was preceded in death by his fathers, Orville Scholl and Leo Greenland.
