CHARLES PIPPERT DIES IN HOSPITAL
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR RETIRED FARMER ARE NOT COMPLETE

Charles W. Pippert, 76, retired farmer who resided two miles east of Mason City on Highway No 18, died at a local hospital about 5:40 o’clock Thursday afternoon from heart disease. He suffered an attack at his home earlier in the afternoon and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

Mr. Pippert was born December 1, 1865 at Muscatine. He had resided in the vicinity of Mason City for the past 50 years.

Surviving are his wife Emma, a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Core, York, Nebraska; and six sons; Harry, Calvin, Earl and Arlyn Pippert of Mason City; the Rev. Leslie Pippert, Echo, Minnesota; and Jesse Pippert, serving in the united States Army.

A brother, John Pippert of Hartley, a sister; Mrs. G. W. Freese, Nora Springs and 13 grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body was taken to the Patterson Funeral Home.

CHARLES W. PIPPERT RITES MONDAY; BURIAL AT NORA SPRINGS

Funeral services for Charles W. Pippert, 76, who died at a local hospital Thursday afternoon from heart disease, will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Christian Alliance Tabernacle, 816 Delaware Avenue Northeast.

A short prayer will be said at the Pippert home, two miles east of Mason City on Highway no 18 at 1:30 o’clock.

The body will lie in state at the Patterson Funeral Home until Monday morning, when it will be taken to the Pippert home, where it will lie in state until the time of services.

Burial will be at the Park Cemetery, Nora Springs.
