Larry J. Miller, 47, of Rockford, died on Thursday afternoon, January 9, 1992, in a construction mishap in Rockford.

Funeral services were held on Monday, January 13, 1992, at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Rockford. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery in Rockford. Rev. D. Rausch officiated.

Schumburg Funeral Home of Rockford was in charge of arrangements.

Larry Miller was born on January 28, 1944, in New Hampton, the son of Paul and Leona Miller. He graduated from Rockford High School and had worked in construction all of his life.

Living family members include two brothers, John L. Miller of Rockford and Kenneth Miller of San Jose, California; one sisters, Mary (Mrs. Merlin) Obermeier of Charles City; special friend Sandra Brand of Rockford; and 12 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; one niece and one nephew.
