FORMER ROCKFORD RESIDENT
DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Wannabelle J. Mehmen, 63, died on July 26, in a Panorama City hospital. Born in Iowa, she lived in Burbank for 36 years.

Mrs. Mehmen was an electronics assembler for 30 years, last with I.E.E. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and a lifelong member of D.A.V.

She is survived by her husband, William; a daughter, Laura Howard; a son, Rodger; and by five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Church of the Hills, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills, and burial following.

Caroline Fisher and Carol Fenton of Rockford, flew out to attend the funeral of Wanda Mehmen.
