FORMER ROCKFORD MAN
DIES IN CALIFORNIAWilliam "Bud" Mehmen, formerly of Rockford, Iowa, died on August 23, 1992, in St. Joseph Hospital in Burbank, California.
Survivors include one son, Roger; one daughter, Laura Howard; six sisters: Effie Wood, Katie Welshans, Allie Metz, all of California; Caroline Fisher of Rockford, Iowa; Annie Sorenson of Austin; and Dorothy Tapp of Hampton. He is also survived by a brother, Jerry "Red" Mehmen of California; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda; his parents; three brothers and two sisters.
