Orville J Hubbard – January 21, 1851 – June 27, 1939

HOLD RITES OF O.J. HUBBARD
88 YEAR OLD NORA SPRINGS PIONEER IS BURIED AT CLEAR LAKE

Nora Springs – Funeral services for Orville J. Hubbard, 88, who died at his home here Tuesday morning, were held Thursday morning at the Martin-Sheckler Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Clarence Dwight James. Pallbearers were Harry Hubbard, Arthur Hammond, Roy Hammond, and Ralph Ott. Burial was in Clear Lake Cemetery.

He was a pioneer of Cerro Gordo, Floyd and several nearby Counties, having lived here more than 80 years.

Three children surviving are; Mrs. Ethel Brainerd, South Bend, Indiana; Ray W. Hubbard of Cedar Rapids; and Ross O Hubbard of Mason City.

Mr. Hubbard was married to Mrs. Tuly Sunderlin , January 17. 1924, who died nearly three years ago. His daughter, Mrs. Ethel Brainerd has cared for him since that time.
