Irvin Gratias, 80, son of Roy and Carrie Gratias, formerly of Nora Springs, Iowa, passed away in Arpin, Wisconsin, while visiting his brother, Arnold.

Funeral services were held on February 6, 1992, at Alden-Waggoner Chapel, Boise, Idaho, with burial in Terrace Lawn Cemetery.

Irvin was born on October 28, 1912. He spent his childhood in Wisconsin. He worked in Chicago before moving to Washington state to be a mink rancher, and also do painting.

Shortly after moving to Boise, two years ago, his wife was killed in a car crash. Also preceding him in death are his daughter, Janice, his parents and a brother Leonard.

Survivors include a son, Burdett; two brothers, Virgil of Yreka, Calif., and Arnold of Arpin, Wisc.; two sisters, Maxine Blankenship of Seattle, and Arlene McCart of Moses Lake, Wash.
