Norma J. Gallentine, 60, of Marshalltown, Iowa, died on Wednesday, November 18, 1992, at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgery Center, Marshalltown.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 21, 1992 at the Pursel-Davis Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bob Kosbau officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Marshalltown.

Norma was born on February 29, 1932 at Nora Springs, Iowa, a daughter of John and Ruth (Gallup) Keith. She married Dale Gallentine on November 5, 1950 in Nora Springs.

She was raised and educated in Nora Springs. She graduated from Nora Springs High School in 1949. She worked as a LPN at the Veterans Home in Marshalltown. Norma attended the Evangelical Free Church.

Survivors include three daughters: Deborah Imsland, Lexington, Ohio, Cindy Lewis, Riverside, Calif., and Julie Williams, Marshalltown; three sons: Dale Gallentine Jr., Gilman, Iowa, Doug Gallentine, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and John Gallentine, West Des Moines; and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1979, one brother and one sister.

Arrangements were by Pursel-Davis Funeral Home of Marshalltown, Iowa.
