Clinton Love – December 1864 – November 5, 1944
FORMER NORA SPRINGS GROCER DIES; FUNERAL AT CANISTOTA, SOUTH DAKOTA
Nora Springs – Friends here received word of the death, at Rochester, Minnesota, November 5th, of Clinton Love.
Mr. Love operated a grocery store in Nora springs for 10 years until his retirement in August 1941 at the age of 77. Since then he had made his home at Madison, Wisconsin, with his son-in-law and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Kouba.
Mr. Love had undergone an operation at Rochester October 24th, and was recovering nicely when he suffered a heart attack.
The body was taken to Canistota, South Dakota, his former home, where services were held at the home of Dr. and Mrs. W. E. Dickinson, November 8th. The Masonic Lodge of Salem, South Dakota, attended the services at Canistota and also conducted the burial services at Salem, where Mr. Love was buried in the family lot at the side of his wife.
