Josephine (Gast) Squier – April 15, 1872 – June 16, 1963

MRS. J. SQUIER RITES TUESDAY AT NORA SPRINGS

Nora Springs – Mrs. Josephine Squier, 91, died Sunday at the Nora springs Nursing Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Sheckler Funeral Home here. The Rev. D. E. Cannaday will officiate. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.

Born April 15, 1872, at Nora Springs, she was the daughter of Andrew and Sarah Jane (Heintz) Gast. She was married to Alonzo W. Squier on December 20, 1905. He died in 1923.

Surviving are two daughters; Doris Squier, with whom she lived; Mrs. Wayne (May) Ravlin, Mason City; two grandsons and two great-grandsons.
