HUSBAND SERIOUSLY ILL WHEN WORD COMES OF DEATH OF HALF BROTHER
Rudd, Jan 2 – Strain from caring for her husband and shock on receiving a message of the death of her half- brother were believed to have caused the death Tuesday of Mrs. Michael Allen at her home a mile south of Rudd.
Mrs. Michael had been caring for her husband, who had been seriously ill but was beginning to show improvement. Then she received a message that her half-brother died in Kansas.
She went to her room to lie down. Her son, Ross, soon went to her and found her dead.
