GLOCK FUNERAL HELD AT ROCKFORD; WIDOW; 5 CHILDREN SURVIVE
Rockford, Oct. 22 – the funeral for John B. Glock, who died at his home here Saturday following a long illness, was held yesterday afternoon at the Methodist Church. The Rev. Charles E Luce, pastor of the Methodist Church, conducted the service, assisted by the Rev. Mr. warner, pastor of the Dunkard church at Greene.
Mr. Glock was born on a farm at Aughwick Mills, Pennsylvania, and married to Miss Catherine Allen April 24, 1890. In 1900 they moved to Iowa and lived on a farm in Floyd County until 1912, when they returned to Parkers Ford, Pennsylvania, living there for one year and again coming to Iowa and settling on a farm near Rockford and remaining in this vicinity since.
Mr. Glock is survived by his widow, three daughters; Mrs. George Seifkin and Sarah of Rockwell; and Mrs. Carrie Cheneyof Waterloo, and two sons; John F. and Porter of Rockford; and one sister; Mrs. J. A. Rohrer, Mount Vernon.
