AYRES SERVICES TO BE THURSDAY
RITES TO BE HELD AT LOCAL CHAPEL; BURIAL NEAR NORA SPRINGSFuneral services for Henry S. Ayres, 73, who died suddenly Tuesday morning at the home of a nephew, C. H. Funston, at Arnolds Park, will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 o’clock at the Patterson Funeral Home.
The Rev. Roy W Peyton, pastor of the Presbyterian Church will be in charge of the services. Burial will be at the Rock Grove Cemetery southeast of Nora Springs.
Mr. Ayres was born at Cresco, Iowa, July 16, 1868. He resided most of his life in Nora Springs and Floyd and had recently moved to Arnolds Park.
Surviving Mr. Ayres are his sister; Mrs. Elizabeth Funston of Arnolds Park; nephew; C. H. Funston, Arnolds Park; two nieces; Mrs. Besse Raymond and Mrs. Don Blair, Mason City, grandchildren of Clear Lake. He was preceded in death by his wife , Louise in 1937, and by four daughters.
