RAY WIPPERFURTH RITES WEDNESDAY

Nora Springs – Ray Wipperfurth, farmer near Merrimac, Wisconsin, died Sunday October 20 in Sauk-Prairie Memorial Hospital.

He had been ill for about three weeks, and his death was caused by anemia. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin.

Mr. Wipperfurth married the former Esther Kraupa of Nora Springs, and for a time was employed by his father-in-law, Charles Kraupa, in the Kraupa Hardware in Nora Springs.

The Wipperfurths farmed the Day Reed place north of here, moving to Wisconsin about 20 years ago.

In addition to his wife,he is survived by one son, Charles Wipperfurth, Beloit, Wisconsin.

Raymond was born in Dane County, Wisconsin, the son of Adam and Mary (Miller) Wippenfurth.

He married Ester Kraupa, the daughter of Charles Kraupa and Louise (Gosse) Kraupka.
