Nina S. Stocks, 88, of Nora Springs, and formerly of Nashua, died on Wednesday, December 8, 1993, at North Iowa Mercy Health Center, Mason City.

Funeral services were held on Monday at First Congregational Church, Nashua, Iowa. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.

Nina was born on January 21, 1905 in Nashua.

Survivors include one son, Arthur Stocks, Mason City; and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, and one infant brother.

Nina C. (Stevens) Stocks, the daughter of Orlo Ray Stevens and Henrietta Stocks.

She married Dr. Walter Lloyd Stocks, the son of Arthur and Carrie (Thompson) Stocks. She was the 2nd wife of Walter Stocks. His first wife Pearl (Adams) Stocks died in 1929.

The Arthur Stocks, son mentioned in the obit was her step-son, and the daughter mentioned was Jeanette Stocks, born around 1933.
