George Shultz – January 30, 1841 – March 5, 1907

OBITUARY

George Shultz was born January 30, 1841, and died March 5, 1907. His sudden demise must very formidably impress us that life is uncertain and eternity is sure. In 1865 he purchased the land which was to be his future home, and he and his family have resided thereon continuously ever since. Last October he and a part of his family moved to Marble Rock to spend the golden days in quiet retirement.

He was married to Miss Almira Searles, January 27, 1871. To this union eight children were born, two of whom have passed on before to await his coming.

Maggie and Elsie are the ones that were waiting on eternities shore for the coming of their beloved father.

The rest of the children, six in number, and the wife were present at the funeral to pay the tribute of respect due the deceased as husband and father.
