ALBEE SERVICES SET FOR THURSDAY

The body of Willard Charles Albee, 80, arrived from Honolulu Saturday afternoon and was taken to the Waggener and Campbell Funeral Home where funeral services have been set for Thursday at 2 p.m. with Dr. C. L. Clifford of Kalispell officiating.

Burial will be in Conrad Memorial Cemetery with Masonic graveside ritualistic rites.

Mr. Albee died March 6 in Honolulu where he had been vacationing. He had been a resident of Eureka since 1909, and had operated the Albee Mercantile Company there for a number of years until establishing the Albee Lumber Co. of Eureka.

Mr. Albee was a member of Eureka Masonic Lodge 41, A.F. & A.M.; Lillian Chapter 64, Order of Eastern Star of Eureka; Flathead Shrine Club of Kalispell, Helena Consistory of Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Free-masonry, and Algeria Temple of Helena.

He is survived by his one son, Dean Albee of Eureka, and one grandson.

ALBEE SERVICES SET FOR TOMORROW

Funeral services for W. C. Albee, 80, will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Waggener and Campbell Chapel, with Dr. C. L. Clifford of Kalispell officiating.

Burial will be in Conrad Memorial Cemetery with the Eureka Masonic Lodge 41, AF&AM, holding Frank Thomas, of Eureka acting master.

Mr. Albee, a resident of Eureka since 1909, died in Honolulu, Hawaii, March 6.

Funeral services for Willard Charles Albee, 80, were Thursday afternoon at the Waggener and Campbell Chapel, conducted by Dr. C. L. Clifford.

Willard Charles Albee was born January 26, 1875, at Rockford, Illinois. He married Lillian Buffington Waller in 1904 at Rockford, Iowa.

In 1909, they moved to Eureka where Mr. Albee purchased the Bradley Mercantile Store which he operated for 30 years. He also engaged in Christmas tree operation from 1941 to 1947, when he started the Albee Lumber Co.

Mr. Albee had been a Mason since 1909 and was a charter member of the Eureka Lodge and was its worshipful master in 1939. He also was a member and past patron of the Eastern Star, a member of the Scottish Rite at Helena and the Shrine at Helena.

Mrs. Albee died in 1946. Mr. Albee continued his residence at Eureka and recently was vacationing in Hawaii when he was taken ill. He died March 6 in Honolulu.

Mr. Albee is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Waller Albee, of Eureka.

Willard Charles Albee was born January 26, 1875 in Rockford, Winnebago Co., Illinois, the son of Asa Seymour Albee and Sarah Eliza (Pullman) Albee.

He married Lillian Buffington Waller, the daughter of George Waller and Adalaide (Buffington) Waller.

The family moved to Floyd County, Iowa before 1895. His parents are buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, Floyd County, Iowa.
