Memorial services for Mrs. Anton (Anna W.) Seiler, 91, of Rockford, will be Thursday, March 4, 1993, from the Holy Name Catholic Church in Rockford. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery at Rockford, with Father Paul Rausch officiating.

Anna was the daughter of Mathias and Margareta (Huffenus) Willems, and was born on June 6, 1901 in Sat. Andrei, Timis, Romania. Anna came to the United States in the late teens and settled in the Chicago area. In September of 1922 she married John Siebold, and to that union one daughter was born. In 1956 Anna married Anton Seiler in Detroit, Michigan. About 1958 Anna and Anton moved to Rockford.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother and a sister.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Anna) Johnson of Rockford, a step-son, Stephan Seiler of Clinton Township, Michigan, two step-daughters, Rose LaPoint of Rockford and Eva Brown of Missouri; two grandchidlren, Kenneth Johnson of Charles City and Kathy Ann Johnson of Mason City; one great-grandchild; five step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; an done step-sister, Gertrude Schwartz of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.

Anna passed away on Sunday, February 28, 1993, at the Nora Springs Care Center after an extended illness. She was an active member of the Holy Name Catholic Church in Rockford, and a charter member of the Sunset Generation Senior Citizens group in Rockford until her confinement.
