MaDonna "Donna" Moose, 77, of Mason City, Iowa, died Friday, October 29, 1993 at North Iowa Mercy Health Center, East Campus.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mason City, with Rev. C. Reis officiating. Burial was in Park Cemetery, Nora Springs.
Donna Moose was born on October 17, 1916, in Dougherty, Iowa, the daughter of John and Clara (Kennedy) Boyle. She married Ruben Moos on June 24, 1964 at Rockford, Illinois.
Donna grew up in Dougherty and graduated from St. Patrick's Catholic High School, Dougherty. She then moved to Mason City where she was a waitress until moving to Nora Springs in 1964. She and her husband owned and operated the Nora Springs Advertiser until 1970. She also worked at A.C. Neilson's until retiring in 1980. In 1991 she moved to Mason City. She loved to play cards.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Casebolt-Lind and her husband, Donald, Berlin, Wisconsin, and Debra Graper, San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren: David Lynk, Omaha, Nebraska, Robert Lynk, Wautoma, Wisconsin, Pat Reser, Redgranite, Wisconsin, Michelle Bickels, Omaha, Nebraska, Shannon Fox and Jason Fox, both of Berlin, Wisconsin, Cory Graper, Rapid City, South Dakota, and Jill Graper, Milton Hall Air Force Base, England; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Edward Casebolt; one daughter, Mary Lorane Casebolt; one granddaughter, Kellie Fox; and one great-granddaughter, Bobbi Jo Lynk.
