Inez S. Miller, 101, of Nora Springs, Iowa, died Sunday, December 26, 1993 at the Nora Springs Care Center.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Sheckler Colonial Chapel, Nora Springs. Burial was in Park Cemetery.

Inez Miller was born on May 16, 1892, in Fowler, Indiana, the daughter of Hans and Hannah (Nelsen) Otto. She married Laurence B. Miller on August 18, 1915 in Rolfe. She loved music and was a piano teacher in Kanawha, Dike, and Ackley. She also played the organ at church for many years. She was a member of the Nora Springs United Methodist Church and a past member of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include one son, L. Roy Miller, Jacksonville, Florida; one daughter, Mrs. Arnold (Betty) Christensen, Waterloo; two grandchildren, Laurence Christensen of Milan, Illinois, and Diane Busse, Conifer, Colorado; four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and by one brother, Henry Otto.
