Services were held Wednesday, October 6, 1993 for Jean Halvorsen Martin-Vague. The body was cremated and her ashes scattered at Big Sur. A family gathering was held at her home on Sunday, October 10, 1993

Survivors include her husband, Mike Martin-Vague; three children: Kimberly, Alexis and Kelsey; mother, Kumja Halvorsen; brother, David Halvorsen; two sisters, Laura Herando and Andrea Halvorsen; grandmother, Lillian Ervay and aunt Harriet Graner, both of Nora Springs.

Jean attended the Nora Springs-Rock Falls school system between 1970 and 1971.
