CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Delores M. Grady, 81, of 100 Chickasaw St., Rudd, Iowa, died Wednesday August 1, 2012, at her home in Rudd.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, at 1 p.m. at First Wesleyan Church, 913 S. Main St. Charles City. Officiating will be Don Casler. Burial will follow immediately after the service at the Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

Visitation will be Friday Aug. 3, 2012, from 4-7 p.m. at Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., Charles City and one hour prior to services at First Wesleyan Church. Thoughts, stories and condolences may be e-mailed to the family on the www.fullertonfh.com website.

Delores Grady was born on April 13, 1931, in Rockford, to John and Estella (Wilson) Adams. She graduated from Rockford High School where she played basketball and softball. She married Gerald Eugene Grady at the Little Brown Church and enjoyed many years together raising five children before his death in 1990. She loved dancing at the Moose Lodge in Charles City with her husband along with bowling, shopping garage sales collecting Indian dolls.

She enjoyed shopping for other things too bringing home many treasures through the years.

Her favorite actor was John Wayne and she watched all his movies. With her love of many things western the family tells all that jeans wear is appropriate for both her visitation and service.
Delores is survived by her children Michael (Tracy) Grady, John (Gloria) Grady, and Jerry (Laura) Grady; 23 Grandchildren; 26 Great Grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald in 1990, daughter Christine, son Timothy, and grandson Eric Grady.
