ALBERT LOKENVITZ

Charles City – Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the West St. Charles Methodist Church for Albert Lokenvitz, 86. He died at the Rockford Convalescent Home where he had been a patient several weeks.

Burial will be in West St. Charles Church Cemetery with the Hauser Funeral Home in charge.

He is survived by four sons, Harold, St. Paul, Minnesota; Darryl and Ivan, both of Charles City, and Merlyn, Floyd; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Albert Carl Lokenvitz was born October 4, 1876 in Illinois, the son of Charles “Carl” Lokenvitz and Hannah (Vieth) Lokenvitz. He married Florence Heitz, the daughter of John and Anna (Toepfer) Heitz.
