Mary Edge, 87, of Rudd, Iowa, died on Wednesday, April 28, 1993, at her home.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 1, 1993, at the Champion Funeral Home in Osage, Iowa, with Rev. J. Gilbert officiating. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.

Mary Edge was born on November 7, 1905, in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of John Edge Sr. and Hattie Cummings Edge. She graduated from Osage High School in 1923 and farmed with her two brothers west of Elma until retiring and moving to Rudd in 1989.

Survivors include one sister, Maude Nelson, of Austin, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: John Jr., Maurice and Robert; two sisters, Esther Butler and Belle Turner.
