Pearl (Mrs. Guy) Trask, 89, a former resident of Colwell, and the Rudd Manor, died Tuesday morning, February 8, 1994, at the Riverside Chautauqua Guest Home.

Funeral services for Pearl Trask will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home. The Rev. A.C. Wegner, pastor of the Faith Bible Chapel, will officiate. Burial will be in the Riveside Cemetery.

Pearl Adelia Shave Trask was born on February 19, 1904, in Floyd county, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur and Tena Ferch Shave. She received her education in the rural school near her home and on December 25, 1920, she and Guy Trask were married at Charles City. They farmed for 27 years. She was employed at Charles City Manufacturing, and Cashman's Greenhouse. She liked to garden.

Living family members include three daughters, Edna Lemmons of Granton, Wisconsin, Dorothy (Mrs. Darrell) Bass of Rockford, and Betty (Mrs. Emmett) Clay of Duncombe; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Guy, in 1980, a granddaughter Cynthia Clay Wilson, a sister Ruth Gerlach and a brother, Loren Shave, Sr.
