Grace Luella (Gish) White – October 8, 1874-January 2, 1946
CHARLES CITY WOMAN DIES; RITES FRIDAY
Charles City – Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3:30 at Grossmann’s Chapel for Mrs. Grace White, 71, who died Wednesday at the Cedar Valley Hospital, where she had been a patient for 3 weeks. The Rev. Joseph G. Morgan, pastor of the First Congregational Church will officiate and interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Grace Luella Gish was born October 8, 1874, the daughter of Richard M. and Helen Smith Gish at Waverly. As a young girl, she lived in Nora Springs and attended the seminary there.
She was married to Mark White in 1894 at Mason City. To this union one son, Harry, was born.
Mrs. White had been in failing health for 3 weeks.She is survived by her son, Harry D. of Charles City, one sister, Minnie M. Turner, of Rockford, and a brother, Dale R. Gish, of Mason City.
