BUCKNER RITES TO BE FRIDAY
NABHOLZ TO OFFICIATE AT SERVICES IN RUDD METHODIST CHURCH

Charles City – Mrs. Clarence L. Buckner, 43, whose home was near Floyd, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Cedar Valley Hospital here after a few days illness. She was brought to the hospital from her farm hoe 3 ˝ miles northwest of Floyd Sunday.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Rudd Wesleyan Methodist Church. Burial will be made in Riverside Cemetery at Rockford. The Rev. Arnold Nabholtz will be in charge of the services. The body will be at Grossman’s in Charles City until Friday noon.

Surviving are the husband, Clarence Buckner, and the following children: Mrs. Lyle Kuhlemier of Rudd; Mrs. Lloyd Zierath of Charles City; Mrs. Albert Nauman of Floyd; and Ruby, Joyce, Chester and Carol at home.

Sisters who survive are Mrs. Art Awe of Mason City; Mrs. Basil Kintz of Mason City; Mrs. Ray Thomas of Floyd; and Mrs. Ben Hitz of Rockford. Louis Langman of Oxford, New York, is a brother.

Mary Langman was born October 31, 1898 in Indiana, the daughter of Herman and Anna (Ledyard) Langman. She married Clarence Leslie Buckner, the son of William and Minnie (Hildebrand) Buckner.
