MRS. KELLY DAILY DIES AT 82; RITES TUESDAY

Nora Springs – Mrs. Kelly (Mary) Daily, 82, died Sunday at a Mason City Hospital. She had been in failing health several months. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church. The Rev. D. E. Cannaday will officiate. Scheckler Funeral Home is in charge.

Mary Grace Bishop was born February 6, 1880 in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, the daughter of John and Lucinda Spotts Bishop.

She was married to Kelly Daily in Portland on May 4, 1905. The lived on farms in Mitchell and Cerro Gordo Counties. Her husband died in 1933. She lived a few years with her son, Loris, in Nora Springs and then at the IOOF Home, Mason City.

Surviving are six sons; Elvin L and Loris B., Nora Springs; Harold L., Kanasha; Floyd H, Coleburg; Carl E., Waterloo; R. Glen, Portland, Oregon; a daughter; Mrs. Sidney (Vera) Winer, Little Cedar; 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Laura Zuehl, Nora Springs; and a brother, Blaine, near Plymouth.

Mary Grace (Bishop) Daily was buried in Rock Grove Township Cemetery, Nora Springs, Floyd County, Iowa. Her husband Kelly Leroy Daily is also buried there.
