Jessie (Tice) O’Harrow McRobert – July 17, 1883 – August 14, 1963

MRS. W. MCROBERT

Charles City – Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Grossmann-Hage Funeral Home for Mrs. W. F. McRobert, 60, a resident of Charles City for the last 50 years.

She died unexpectedly Wednesday at the Cedar Valley Hospital here of a heart attack. She had been a patient at the hospital since August 6th. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, two sons, Harry O’Harrow, Charles City, and Charles Truman O’Harrow, Birmingham, Michigan; one daughter, Mrs. G. B. (Gertrude) Atherton, Charles City; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two sisters; Mrs. P. H. Wohl, Bowman, North Dakota, and Bess Barber, Long Beach, California.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Jessie E Tice was born July 17, 1883 in Osceola, Fond du Lac Co., the daughter of John Henry Tice and Amelia Bell. (Wisconsin birth records)

She married Ralph Edward O’Harrow, the son of Charles and Gertrude O’Harrow. Ralph died in July 2, 1922.

She married William Forbes McRobert on August 31, 1931 in South Dakota. (from S. Dakota marriage records)
