Mary Adeline (Behne)Demo Garoutte – June 13, 1920 – November 26, 2000

Mary Adeline Garoutte, age 86 of Montrose, Colo., formerly of Cokato, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006.

She was born June 13, 1920 in Rock Falls, Floyd County, Iowa, the daughter of Ferdinand K. Behne and Hattie LaVina VanBuskirk.

Mary lived in Minnesota most of her life, moving to Alpine, Calif. in 1998, and then to Montrose, Colo. in June 2006.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Verle Demo and Mike Garoutte; and a son, William C. Demo.

Mary is survived by a son, Thomas V. Demo, Sr. of Colorado; five grandchildren, Sherri Foster, William M. Demo, Thomas V. Demo Jr., Gregory Demo, and Ronald Demo; and 13 great-grandchildren.
