HOUSTON, Texas - Edith "Grandma" Weidner, 80, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on January 10, 2006, in Houston.

Visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home Cypress Creek in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. All other services will be held at Cooper-Quiram Funeral Home located in Genoa, Ill.

Edith was born in Floyd County, to Fred Bill and Rosa (Davis). She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Cypress, Texas, and a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Genoa, Ill.

Edith is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Rob and Charlene Robinson of Houston; son and daughter-in-law, David and Joan Weidner of Hazelhurst, Wis.; granddaughter, Kalli Robinson of Houston; step-grandsons: Ryan and Kyle Robinson of Houston; sisters: Violet Klassen and husband Jerald of Cherry Valley, Ill., Dorothy Logan and Myrtle Albrecht, both of Greene, Iowa, Elsie Conway, Grace Waddell, Frieda Hart and husband Bill, Arlene Carr and husband Kenneth, all of Charles City, Iowa; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great- grandnephews and great-grandnieces. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of Edith?s friends.

She is preceded in death by husband, James Weidner; parents, Fred and Rosa Bill; brothers: Ernest, Elmer, Harvey amd Les Bill; sisters: Florence Wells, Mae Mackamaul, Clara Parker and Lois Bill.
