Arthur W. Schultz, 88, of Rockford, died Tuesday, May 15, 1984, at a Nora Springs nursing home.

Funeral services were held Thursday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, with the Rev. Gary Panko officiating. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.

Arthur was born May 6, 1895, in Grafton to Charles and Cathern (Arzberger) Schultz. He married Loura Walk of Grafton on September 12, 1919, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton.

He farmed at Grafton until 1964, when he retired and moved to Rockford. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, World War I Veterans, and American Legion Post Graper-Hollatz.

He is survived by two daughters, Harriet Navratil, Rockford, and Dorothy (Robert) Straube, Rudd; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
