Louis T. Kaiser

Louis T. Kaiser, 78, of Nora Springs, died Saturday, March 12, 1994, at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Nora Springs, with the Rev. Richard Pippert officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.

Louis T. Kaiser was born Jan. 30, 1916, in Steamboat Rock, the son of John and Dever (Akkerman) Kaiser.

He married Bernadine VanBlair-Waller on April 12, 1947 in Austin, Minn. After his birth, his family moved to the Rockford area where he attended rural schools. He farmed the family farm until 1970 when he retired and moved to Nora Springs. He enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Wigwam-N-Wagon Camping Club, Mason City.

Survivors include his wife, Bernadine Kaiser, Nora Springs; one daughter, Linda Jarrar, La Verne, Calif.; one stepson, Larry Waller, Huntsville, Alabama; two sisters, Viola Jones of Rockford and Alice Anderson of Waverly; two brothers, Henry Kaiser of Charles City and Herbert Kaiser of Algona; four grandchildren, Janeen and Ramsey Jarrar, both of La Verne, Calif., and Jeffrey and Jenifer Waller, both of Cedar Rapids; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters, two half brothers and one half sister.
