Mrs. Dorothy Wyborny, 80, of Rudd, Iowa, died on May 25, 1984 in a Mason City hospital. Her funeral was held on Tuesday morning, May 29, 1984 at the United Methodist Church, Rudd. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Rudd. Rev. S. Mallot officated at the funeral.
She was born on April 20, 1984**, in Cisco, Illinois, the daughter of George and Lillie Kistler Wright. She married Kenneth Wyborny on September 1, 1926. They made their home in Mason City until 1946 when they moved to a farm north of Rudd where they have lived since.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Rudd. She had been employed at the Nora Springs Care Center for 17 years.
Survivors are her husband Kenneth of Rudd; one son, Glen, of Rudd; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Marlys) Larson, Osage, and Mrs. Ron (Jean) Navratil of Rockford; two brothers, Harold Wright, Minneapolis and Clarence Wright of Owatonna, Minnesota; three sisters: Mrs. Velma Nordland of Faribault, Minnesota, Mrs. Guy Kruger of Montgomery, Minnesota and Mrs. Wilmer (Marguerite) Christiansen of Clarks Grove, Minnesota; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, two grandchildren and four brothers.
