Funeral services for Mrs. Phillip (Margaret A.) Nauman, 75, of rural Floyd were held on Tuesday, May 8 at the Wesleyan Church in Rudd, with Rev. H. Johnson officiating. She died on Saturday, May 5, 1984 at the White House Nursing Home in Osage. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Rudd.
Margaret was born on March 24, 1909 in Illinois, the daughter of George and Margaret Peters Fredericks. She moved at an early age with her parents to Floyd, Iowa, where she attended school.
She married Phillip Nauman on May 14, 1925 in Charles City, Iowa, and they lived on a farm near Floyd all their married ilfe. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church in Rudd.
Survivors include her husband, Phillip of rural FLoyd; a son, Robert of rural Floyd; a daughter, Mrs. Carroll (Joyce) Bishop of rural Osage; three brothers: George Fredericks of Nora Springs, Ted Fredericks of Rockford and Elmer Fredericks of Mason City; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons: Victor, Donald and LaVern; her parents and several sisters and brothers.
