FLOYD, IOWA — Harley E. Brown, 60, of Floyd, died Friday, July 6, at the Mental Health Institute, Independence, of natural causes.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta of Floyd; a son, Tom of Charles City; a daughter, Jean Ann Kamm of Charles City; a sister, Georgia Brown of Charles City; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Charles City, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Charles City. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and until 10 a.m Monday at the Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, where there will be a rosary at 7 p.m. today.
Mr. Brown worked at Oliver and White Farm Equipment for 35 years in the foundry and was also sexton at Oakwood Cemetery Floyd for 35 years.
