Mrs. Martha Johnson

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Johnson, 91, who died early Monday at the Chautauqua Guest Home, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hage Funeral Home, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday; burial in Alcock Cemetery near Fredrika.

Survivors include two sons, Floyd and Donald, both of Charles City; four daughters, Mrs. Ellen Gauger, Mrs. Ray Merrill and Mrs. Ruth Martin, all of Charles City, and Mrs. Carl Holschlag of New Hampton; and 25 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

NOTES:

According to her tombstone, in Alcock cemetery, she was born in 1892 and died in 1983; and her husband was Elmer Johnson, was born in 1895, and died in 1970.

Findagrave.com says her maiden name was Pinkelman.
