Eulalia M. Christie, 63, of Marble Rock, died Friday, December 15, 1994, at the North Iowa Mercy Health Center-East campus, Mason City, of an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 19, at the United Meethodist Church in Marble Rock, with the Rev. Rohde-Frank officiating. Burial was in the Amsterdam Cemetery near Goodell. Reid's Funeral Chapel in Marble Rock was in charge of arrangements.

Eulalia Maxine Boller was born on September 18, 1931, in Goodell, a daughter of Harvey Elmer and Edith Ross (Forrestial) Boller. She received her education in the Goodell Public Schools, and as a young lady, worked in the area restaurants.

She married Lawrence F. Christie on August 28, 1947 at the E.U.B. Church in Goodell. They made their home in the Goodell area, later moving to Hayfield and Charles City before moving to Marble Rock in 1959. She was employed at the Marble Rock Public School as head cook for ten years, and later assisted her husband in the carpentry business until his death on July 7, 1979. She worked for Bill's Plumbing and Hardware in Marble Rock until the store closed.

Eulalia was a member of the United Methodist Church and helped with carious church activities throughout the years. As a pastime, she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Living family members include her daughter, Jane and her husband, Joe Blanco of Atascadero, Calif.; one son, Greg Christie of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren: Adam Christie, Angela Christie and Jillian Blanco; one great-grandchild, Colbie Johnson; four sisters: Helen Latch of Charles City; Harriet Rust of Mason City; Koky Lackore of Garner and Beth Lackore of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; and three brothers: Darwin Boller of San Luis Obispo; Larry Boller of Goodell, and Jerry Boller of Phoenix, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and by one brother, Howard Boller.
