HOLD RITES TUESDAY FOR OSAGE WOMAN, 77

Osage – Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home for Mrs. Wesley E. Fisk, 77, who died Sunday at a convalescent home in Osage. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.

Mrs. Fisk was born Genevra Cole, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cole, at Floyd.

She spent her girlhood there and in 1891 accompanied the family to a farm near Osage.

She attended the Osage schools and on March 16, 1899, was married to Wesley Fisk. The couple lived their entire married life here with the exception of 9 years on a farm near Orchard.

The only survivors are the husband and a niece, Mrs. Earl Schmidt, Osage.

Genevra Ann Cole way born February 2, 1874, in Floyd Co., the daughter of Charles and Jemima (Murray) Cole. She married Wesley Eugene Fisk, the son of Theodore Fisk and Jane (Norris) Fisk.
Her parents and his parents are also buried in the Osage Cemetery.
