Nina B. Sellon Jacobson, 84, of 4010 Westover Rd. SE, died Wednesday in her home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Nora Springs. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Rudd, Iowa.

Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Sheckler Colonial Chapel, Nora Springs.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis; two brothers, Clarence Sellon of Seattle and Harold Sellon of Oregon City, Oregon; and a sister, Fern White of Milwaukee, Oregon.

Nina B. (Sellon) Jacobson, 84, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and formerly of Nora Springs, Iowa, died on Wednesday, January 22, 1992, at home in Cedar Rapids.

Funeral services were held on Friday at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Nora Springs, with Rev. C. Clarkson officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Rudd.

Nina B. Jacobson was born on August 23, 1907 on the family farm two miles southeast of Rudd, the daughter of Eugene and Willhelmina (Witzel) Sellon. A 1925 graduate of Nora Springs High School, she attended Grinnell College at Grinnell, and later attended Hamilton Business College at Mason City.

She was united in marriage to Lewis V. Jacobson on July 25, 1935. She and her husband were engaged in the grocery business at Nora Springs for 15 years. In 1951 they disposed of the grocery store and both went to work at the First State Bank in Nora Springs, where they continued until their retirement.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis V. Jacobson, Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Clarence W. Sellon of Seattle, Wash., and Harold V. Sellon of Oregon City, Oregon; and one sister, Fern White, Milwaukee, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers and sisters.
