CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Wayne E. Swant, 94, of 300 N. Grand Ave., Charles City, died Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.

A funeral service will be held at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 S. Main St., in Charles City on Friday, Aug. 26, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dennis Niezwaag officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Charles City on Friday.
