CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Myron R. Wulff, 75, of Charles City, died Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Hospice of North Iowa Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

Memorial services for Myron Wulff will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hauser Funeral Home. Pastor Dennis Niezwaag of Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church will officiate. Inurnment will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, rural Charles City. Military honors will be conducted by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.

The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City and an hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Myron Russell Wulff was born November 28, 1935, at Charles City, the son of Lawrence and Elsie (Melcher) Wulff. He graduated from Charles City High School in 1954. Myron proudly served in the United States Marines from 1956 to 1958.

On February 4, 1961, he was united in marriage to Patsy Miller at Charles City. Myron farmed west of Charles City on the Wulff Century Farm all of his life and also for 12 years was employed at Triad Construction.

He was a member of Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Farm Bureau, and Floyd County Cattlemen's Association. Myron enjoyed going to animal judging and tractor pulls at various fairs. He also enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and listening to country music. Myron was an avid Charles City sports fan and Booster Club member.

Living family members include two sons, Tod (Tammy) Wulff of Rockford and Toby Wulff of Charles City; three grandchildren, Dylan Wulff, Jason Waddell and Britany Bell; a brother, Leland (Marilyn) Wulff of Charles City; a sister, Joyce (Jim) Shover of Hopkinton; two brothers-in-law, Wayne (Juanita) Miller of Charles City and Bill (Audrey) Miller of Champlin, Minn.; and two sisters-in-law, Marlene (Bob) Hockinson of Cape Coral, Fla., and Viola Wulff of Charles City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife in 2002; a daughter, Teri Wulff in 1996; and a brother, Ron Wulff.
