BORN AT ROCKFORD, IOWA

MASON CITY - Lola D. Hall, 70, of Mason City, died Thursday (Sept. 12, 2002) at the Good Shepherd Health Care Center in Mason City.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Ave., with the Rev. James Magelssen officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E. in Mason City, where a Women of the Moose Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to services on Monday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Lola D. Hall Memorial Fund.

Lola was born on January 3, 1932, in Rockford, a daughter of Charles and Clara (Kaiser) Taylor. She grew up in Mason City and graduated from Mason City High School.

Lola was united in marriage to Roger Hall on September 11, 1954, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City.

She was a full-time homemaker and a lifelong resident of Mason City. After Roger's death, Lola worked as a waitress at Pete's Kitchen and Shills Maidrite in Mason City. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, bowling and golfing.

Lola was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Mason City Moose Lodge and the Mason City VFW Post 733.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Roger and Andi Hall of Arizona, Jenifer Goodling of Missouri, Denise and John Schaefer of Mason City, and T.J. Marchello and Greg Potts of Colorado; seven grandchildren, Brian Siverson-Hall and Linda, Brad Hall, Katie Hall, Amy Zapp and Neal, Ryan Schaefer and Brooke Powers, Adam Schaefer and Jenifer Schaefer; two great-grandchildren, Savannah Zapp and Gavin Schaefer; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Jeanette Wright and Alvina Rossi; and two brothers, Chuck and Bud Taylor.
