MARBLE ROCK, IOWA - Kenneth Reams, 85, of 1755 Aureola Dr., died Monday (Aug. 5, 2002) at Muse Norris Hospice Unit, Mason City.

His funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Reid's Funeral Chapel in Marble Rock with the Rev. Tom Healy officiating. Burial will be at Westside Cemetery in Marble Rock.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home preceding the service.

KENNETH JAMES REAMS

MARBLE ROCK - Funeral services for Kenneth James Reams, 85, of 1755 Aureola Drive, Marble Rock, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday at Reid's Funeral Chapel, Marble Rock, with the Rev. Tom Healy, chaplain of Hospice of North Iowa, officiating. Burial will be at Westside Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Friday, preceding the service, at the funeral chapel.

Kenneth James Reams was born June 27, 1917, in Iowa Falls, a son of Clifford and Isabel (Kiefer) Reams, and died on Monday August 5, 2002, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

He received his education in the rural schools. Kenneth worked as a farm hand and then farmed for a short time. He then worked at the Brick and Tile in Rockford until its closing. On September 6, 1938, he was united in marriage to Bernadine Leider at Chester, Iowa. To this union, two children were born.

Left to cherish his memory are a daughter, Charlotte, of Charles City; son, Charles and Nancy, of Marble Rock; grandson, Terry and Jessica, of Parkersburg; granddaughter, Tracy and Mark, of Kensett; four great-grand-children, Tyler, Lyndsey, Ryen and Dylen Reams; and one brother, Raymond and Marlys, of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bernadine, on Sept. 23, 1980; one brother; one sister; and one granddaughter.

The family of Kenneth J. Reams has requested that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of North Iowa.
