ROCKFORD, IOWA - Anna B. Adams, 100, of 210 7TH St. N.E. Apartment No. 1, Rockford, died Thursday (July 25, 2002) at the Nora Springs Care Center in Nora Springs.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Name Catholic Church, 507 First Ave. N.W. in Rockford, with the Rev. Craig Steimel officiating. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Fullerton-Schumburg Funeral Home, 302 W. Main, Rockford, with a Scripture wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour before services Saturday at the church.

Visitation was held Friday at Fullerton-Schumburg Funeral Home, 302 W. Main, Rockford. Visitation will continue one hour before time of services at the church today.

Anna was born July 26, 1901, in Kimball, S.D., the daughter of Frank and Katherine (Bekarek) Adams.

Anna was united in marriage to William Adams in 1924, in Kimball, S.D. She worked as a housewife. She was involved in the Senior Citizen's Group of Rockford.

Anna enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and her small flower garden. She loved spending time with family. Anna will be missed by family and friends.

Anna is survived by one daughter, Ruth Gilbert, and her husband, Wendell, of Adel; one son, Dennis, and his wife, Susan, of Rockford; one sister, Daisy Fisher, of Chamberlain, S.D.; three grandchildren, Dean, Michael, Joe Adams; one great-grandchild, Cam Adams.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Adams, in 1979; and sisters and brothers.
