CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Kevin Hepperly, 25, of the Comprehensive Systems in Charles City, formerly of Mason City, died Tuesday (June 25, 2002) at the Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E. in Mason City.

KEVIN ROBERT HEPPERLY

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Kevin Robert Hepperly, 25, of Charles City, died Tuesday (June 25, 2002) at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.

His funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 106 Chapel Lane, Charles City, with Monsignor Stanley Hayek officiating. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E. in Mason City, and also for one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Kevin R. Hepperly Memorial Fund.

Kevin was born January 3, 1977 in Mason City, the son of Ronald and Sarah (Hamilton) Hepperly. He attended Wilson, Hoover and Roosevelt Elementary Schools in Mason City and Jefferson and Washington Elementary Schools in Charles City.

Kevin moved to Comprehensive Systems in Charles City in 1988 and graduated from Charles City High School in 1998.

He worked at the Labor Center in Charles City for several years.

Kevin was a very friendly person who enjoyed working at his job, long walks and spending time with his family, especially his grandfather. He also liked to watch cooking shows on television and spent as much time in the kitchen baking as he could.

Kevin is survived by his father, Ron Hepperly, of Mason City; two brothers, Dennis "DJ" Hepperly, of Charles City and Matthew Hepperly, of Mason City; his maternal grandparents, Bob and Ardeyth Hamilton, of California; three uncles and their spouses, Paul and Wilma Hamilton of Oklahoma, Gary and Dorothy Hepperly of Mason City, and Duane and Sandy Hepperly of Mason City; one aunt, Karen Hamilton of Pennsylvania, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his paternal grandparents.
