CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Congregational Church for Charles J. Cross, 76, long time resident of Charles City, who died at his home following a heart attack Saturday night. Burial in Riverside Cemetery.

He had been employed in the shipping department at the Oliver Corp. for many years until his retirements seven years ago.

Survived by the following children: Mrs. Walter Cline, Mrs. Marlys Young, Mrs. Lavonna Knight, Mrs. Otto DeWalle and Elaine Cross, all of Charles City; Wendell Cross and Mrs. Joseph Broderick, both of Hudson; Mrs. Terry Eytcheson, Yakima, Washington, and Mrs. Edwin Minnis, Denver, Colorado; two brothers, John B. Cross, Charles City, and Marvin of Oakdale, and one sister, Mrs. Claude Alderman, also of Charles City.
