SERVICES HELD

Floyd Resident, 78,
Succumbs at Home
Following Illness

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Funeral services were held at 2:30 p. m. Monday for Henry Gauger, 78, of Floyd, who died Saturday [Oct. 4, 1941] morning at his home after two weeks' illness.

Mr. Gauger, who has lived in Floyd most of his life, is survived by four children: Miss Grace Gauger, at home; Mrs. Mabel Griffith, Saskatoon, Canada; Mrs. Pearl Lackore, Hayfield; Mrs. Hilda Anderson, Floyd.

An only son, Walter Gauger, died last spring. His wife died several years ago.

There are also seven grandchildren and five brothers and one sister: Fred Gauger, and A. C. Gauger, both of Charles City; William Gauger, Davenport, Wash.; the Rev. A. W. Gauger, Buffalo Center; J. H. Gauger, Rockford, and Mrs. E. R. Bartz of Rudd.

Services were conducted at the Hauser Funeral Home with the Rev. H. H. Fletcher of the Floyd, in charge; and burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
