Survived by Family

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Walter Gauger, 50, died suddenly early Tuesday [Apr. 8, 1941] morning at the Veterans hospital in Des Moines, where he had been for three weeks.

He was a postoffice employee here.

Surviving are his widow, a son, John, who is a student at Iowa State Teachers college, Cedar Falls; a son, Kermit, at home; his father, H. A. Gauger of Floyd, and four sisters: Grace Gauger Floyd, Mrs. Hilda Anderson, Floyd; Mrs. Pearl Lacour Hayfield, and Mrs. Mabel Griffith who resides in Canada.

The body is at the Hauser funeral home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

REUNION--

A Gauger family reunion, was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Gauger, Sunday, June 21.

Besides resident members, the Adam Marth, W.
C. Gauger and Leonard Gauger families out-of-town guests were the Ed. and Ivan Bartz families, and Mr. and Mrs Warren Frevert of Rudd; Henry Gauger, daughter Grace, and Mr. and
Mrs. B.A. Duesenberg and son Donald of Floyd; Rev. A. W. Gauger and family of Buffalo Center; F. W. Gauger, Walter Gauger and Howard Anderson
families, of Charles City; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lacour of Hayfleld; Mr. and Mrs. J W. Johnson of Los Angeles, Californla. [Rockford, Iowa, Register].
