George P. McCarthy

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — George P. McCarthy, 59, general sales manager for Dr. Salsbury's Laboratories, died of a heart attack Monday afternoon while doing yard work at his home.

Funeral services will he Friday afternoon in the Trinity Episcopal Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Burial will be in Fort Worth.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Fred Hamlin, Farmington, Michigan; Mrs. C. W. Simpson, Lufkin, Texas; seven grandchildren, and a brother, C. B. McCarthy, Fort Worth.

He had been associated with Salsbury's since February 1952. He was a member of several Masonic orders, Kiwanis, Elks, Optimists and the Fort Worth Club and was a senior warden in Grace Episcopal Church in Charles City.
